Valuations
We will visit your home free of charge and value and assess any items you may wish to sell. We will also do all necessary research on unusual items so as to achieve the very best results for every client. Contact us today to arrange a valuation, or send us photos via our online upload form.
Reserve Prices
You must tell the auctioneer if you have a reserve price in mind. We will be happy to discuss and agree this with you. Your instructions to us are treated in complete confidence and we will only discuss your sale instructions with you. Your reserve will be subject to a 10% discretionary margin unless otherwise agreed before the sale.
Collections
We are happy for you to deliver your items to us, by prior arrangement, together with our pre-filled entry form. We also offer a full collection and packaging service conducted by our experienced in house team. This service is charged from £40.00 (plus VAT) per hour, dependent upon staffing requirements on each individual job, which begins from the vehicle leaving our premises to its return and unloading.
Commissions
Our commission rates vary from 15% to 25% (plus VAT) and all lots are subject to a lotting fee from £2 per lot (plus VAT).
Selling at Auction
Our auction room sales generally consist of chattels, jewellery, ceramics, porcelain, glass, decorative arts, metalware, clocks, collectors items, works of art, textiles, paintings, rugs, antiques and Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture.
